Don A. Bukstein, MD is Clinical Professor of Family Practice and Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin and Director of Asthma and Allergy Research at the Dean Medical Center in Madison, WI. After receiving a BA in English Literature from Tulane University, Dr. Bukstein earned his medical doctorate from the University of Missouri. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas, as well as a fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology/pediatric pulmonary disease at the National Jewish Hospital and Research Center/National Asthma Center in Denver, CO.

Board certified in pediatrics, allergy and immunology, and pediatric pulmonary disease, Dr. Bukstein is also Co-director of the Asthma Internet Information Center (www.healthyairways.com), and Co-director of the St. Mary's Neighborhood Free Asthma Clinic in Madison, WI. His specialties include allergic diseases, apnea, computerized medical records, infant and childhood asthma, outcomes research, patient and physician education, pediatric bronchoscopy, and pulmonary function testing. Dr. Bukstein has also served as a consultant for several national advisory boards and as a presenter at numerous CME programs internationally.
